First consultation
Your first consultation with the orthodontist lasts approximately 30 minutes. It includes a clinical examination, radiographic assessment and presentation of a tailored treatment plan.

Please bring your health insurance card, a form of ID, your referral letter (if sent by your dentist) and any recent X-rays.

Clear aligners are removable and nearly invisible, ideal for mild to moderate cases. Traditional brackets (metal or ceramic) are fixed and can treat the most complex cases. Your orthodontist will recommend the most suitable solution for you.
04Is orthodontic treatment covered by health insurance?
In France, orthodontic treatment is covered by the national health system for patients under 16, subject to prior approval. Beyond that age, supplementary insurance may contribute. A detailed estimate will be provided during your first consultation.
05How do I get to the practice by tram or car?
Both our practices are located in the city centre of Clermont-Ferrand, near Place de Jaude. The tram (lines A and B, Jaude stop) drops you just a few minutes' walk away. By car, the Jaude and Salins car parks are the closest options.
06Is orthodontic treatment painful?
Some mild discomfort may be felt in the first few days after the appliance is fitted or following an adjustment. This sensation is normal and subsides quickly. Your orthodontist will give you all the advice you need for optimal comfort throughout treatment.
